LHS girls defeated PV girls by 8
Didn't see much, just the last quarter and a half, but PV did something that blew my mind. They started to foul with about two minutes left, but then proceeded to only foul on certain possessions. Its the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It was not just not fouling a certain player, Cluesman, but they would go a possession and not foul anybody then foul a girl as soon as the ball was thrown in on the next possession. Inexplicable.

Boys:
PV: 59
LHS: 47

PV boys defeated Lee by around 12, PV was up 12, something like 59-47 with a minute to go. Lee relies a lot on the outside shot and Maggard. They have absolutely zero size and it showed. PV was dominant inside, getting basically whatever they wanted on the block at times. PV came out HOT, jumped to a big first quarter lead and never trailed. LHS got as close as five at some points but was never in a position to win.
For PV, Garrison was very good as usual. He had 19 points as I left, leaving him five points short of scoring his 1,000th point. Made a couple of bad passes but that's expected out of any PG in the country. He had a few steals and probably five assists. The PV bigs, Vernon and Baker, had great games. Both were able to get bunches of points inside on the smaller LHS defender.
I thought Holcomb did a good job guarding Maggard, he was in his face all night and stuck to him thru screens and around defenders. Maggard is a great scorer but I think Holcomb had him out of his rhythm at times.

For Lee, Maggard had a good game, but not great. He was not great from behind the arc but had a lot of success in the mid range game. He has great hops and was able to get his shot off against even the bigger PV defenders.
#20 for LHS also had a good game shooting the ball, especially from downtown. He hit almost every single 3pt attempt. A lil showboating which was silly, he thought he was Jordan, holding his hand in the follow thru after a 3, but played well on offense.
